ROTORIS Manifesta Prelaunch Introduces 18K Solid Gold Cases and Natural Stone Dials

ROTORIS, a design-led watch house co-founded by Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta, has begun the prelaunch of Manifesta Annual Production 2026-27.

The first Manifesta edition was fully allocated. The new annual production continues from that release, keeping its open-heart design but adding new dial materials, two case sizes and solid 18K white gold details.

What Has Changed From the First Manifesta Edition

For the 2026-27 production, some changes will be made to the original collection:

1. Movement: Japanese Miyota 82S0 automatic.

2. Dial Options: White Mother-of-Pearl, with Imperial Jade, Lapis Lazuli, and Pietersite added to the collection.

3. Gold details: The nameplate and the bridge over the open heart are made of solid 18K gold.

4. The case sizes: 40 mm and 36 mm are new in the new production.

5. Crown position: The crown shifts from three o’clock to two o’clock.

Solid 316L Steel Case With 18K White Gold Details

The Manifesta New Release features a solid 316L stainless steel case and is available in 40 mm and 36 mm sizes. The ROTORIS wordmark and the ring around the open-heart display are solid 18K gold, bringing precious-metal detailing to the timepiece without changing the case material.

Four Dials Cut From Natural Stone and Shell

Each Manifesta dial is made from a single piece of natural stone or shell, maintaining the unique pattern and variation of the material.

1. Lapis Lazuli: Deep blue with natural golden flecks of pyrite creating a rich contrast throughout the dial.

2. Imperial Jade: Translucent green with natural tonal variations, making each dial one of a kind.

3. Pietersite: Swirling bands of colour form a layered pattern that shifts with the light.

4. White Mother-of-Pearl: A soft, iridescent surface that reflects the light in different directions.

The hours are marked by lab-grown diamonds of VS to VVS clarity on each dial.

“Nature creates every Manifesta dial for us,” said ROTORIS co-founder Prerna Gupta about the new release, “Each slice of stone has its own veins, its own colour, its own light, so each piece is special even before we give it a number. Choosing a Manifesta is choosing a dial that exists only once.”

Miyota 82S0 Automatic Movement With a Custom ROTORIS Rotor

Manifesta now has the Japanese Miyota 82S0 automatic movement. The six o’clock open-heart display shows the balance wheel from the dial side, while a transparent screw-down caseback allows a view of the mechanism from behind.

The movement is equipped with a specially designed ROTORIS rotor, which combines the mechanical function of the watch with the identity of the watch-house.

Access to Manifesta Through the ROTORIS Registry

ROTORIS releases its timepieces through finite productions, designated as either annual productions or lifetime productions. Manifesta Annual Production 2026-27 falls under the annual production category.

Interested collectors can begin by completing a profile on the ROTORIS website. Each profile is considered individually, and applicants are contacted when access becomes available. Completing a profile makes an applicant eligible for consideration but does not guarantee an allocation.

Prelaunch is 1 November 2026. Allocations are handled via the ROTORIS Registry and based on availability.
