The trailer of Heat City: Antarpath – Chapter One was launched at a special event in Mumbai attended by the cast, crew and media. The film, created and directed by Chirag M Trivedi, will arrive in cinemas on October 23. The trailer was received enthusiastically as it introduced a world of business rivalries, organised crime, international networks and national security.
The story follows Veer Madhvani, a successful Mumbai-based luxury trader. When circumstances put him in a dangerous confrontation with a Kenyan cartel, a business battle grows into a much bigger conflict. Veer has to find his way through a world where crime and national interest overlap.
Veer then joins forces with a suspended RAW agent, which lifts the story beyond a conventional crime thriller. The trailer asks whether he will keep building his business or become a covert asset for the nation.
The screening was the centrepiece of the evening. The audience responded with excitement to the intense sequences, strong dialogues and intriguing characters. Mumbai is shown as a city where business, power and organised crime coexist in a complicated ecosystem. The dialogue “Yeh Mirzapur nahi, Mumbai hai” further sets the film apart and ties it to the city.
The trailer also introduces Muni Jha as Ayub Sheikh and other characters who appear linked to the film’s larger criminal network. Mentions of intelligence operations, organised crime and international threats suggest a story that will widen into a battle involving multiple players and conflicting interests.
The event then moved to a media interaction with the primary cast and crew. They spoke about their characters, the storyline, the making of the film and their production experiences, and kept the key aspects of the story under wraps.
Shiv Yug Films is the banner behind the film, which is produced by Mayank G Trivedi, Manish G Trivedi and Chirag M Trivedi. The ensemble cast includes Chirag M Trivedi, Priyank Pandav, Piyush Patil, Muni Jha, Taj Sethi, Pratham Sharma, Vihaan Choudhary, Jalak Motiwala, Gaurav Shivaji, Satyam Srivastava, Kishore Soni, Asif Ali, Pravesh Singh and Abhishek Yaduvanshi.
Sourav Pal is the Executive Producer, Sunny Sharma is the Director of Photography, and Apoorv Singh is the Music Director. Pickle Entertainment is distributing the film, with Sameer Dixit and Rishikesh Bhirangi associated with the distribution.
