Mumbai: Indian producer-director Kumar Raj has added another international achievement to his growing cinematic journey after receiving an award along with a cash prize at the USA International Film Awards in Naperville, Illinois, USA.
Known for films such as Ameena and Tara – The Journey of Love & Passion, Kumar Raj has established a strong presence on the international independent cinema circuit. With this latest honour, his worldwide tally has reached 610 international awards, further highlighting the global journey of his work.
Kumar Raj has also been featured in 50 World Books of Records, adding another significant milestone to his growing list of international and national achievements. His contribution to cinema and his extensive record of recognitions have also led to his nomination for the Padma Shri for 2026, one of India’s prestigious civilian honours.
