New Delhi, India, 28th May 2025 — In a major step towards advancing indigenous defence production, Vijayan Trishul Defence Solutions Private Limited (VTDS) conducted a traditional Bhoomi Pujan ceremony on Saturday at its allotted site in Village Erach, Tehsil Garautha, District Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh.
The ceremony was held at Plot No. S-8, a 20-hectare plot leased from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) as part of the UP Defence Industrial Corridor. This marks the spiritual and operational beginning of VTDS’s state-of-the-art defence manufacturing facility.
Gracing the occasion were Mr. Sahil Luthra, Founder & Managing Director, and Ms. Prikansha Luthra, Co-founder & Director of VTDS, the Luthra family, and the core team of VTDS.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Sahil Luthra, Founder & Managing Director, Vijayan Trishul Defence Solutions said, “This Bhoomi Pujan marks the foundation of more than just a facility—it marks the rise of a vision. A vision where India stands tall as a global leader in defence manufacturing. At VTDS, we are not just building infrastructure; we are building strength, sovereignty, and self-reliance for the nation. The upcoming facility will focus on the manufacturing of small arms and ammunition, contributing to the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. It is expected to generate local employment, boost industrial activity, and enhance India’s defence production capabilities.
